Come Get Your Battery or Screen Replaced by the Pros
So you need a battery replaced? We got you. We're the experts in Austin for iPhone battery replacement, trust us.
Here's a simple guide to removing the battery. NOTE-This is for the iPhone 5 because many people still have that one.
-First thing's first, power your iPhone off. Shouldn't be too hard to do.
-At the bottom of the phone with the screen facing you, remove the screws between the charging port. You'll need a pentalobe screwdriver though, in case you didn't know. If you don't have one, buy one off the interwebs or call us to do it for you.
-After you've removed the screws, you'll need a suction cup to carefully remove the glass screen. Use a non-marring tool to remove the screen off the base of the phone. You could probably get away with a razor blade if you're good enough.
-**IMPORTANT**- When you lift up the glass, only lift it up 90 degrees to not rip the cables attached. Trust me, it happens. There are two screws holfing the battery cable you'll need to remove(Philips screws).
-Take off the metal bracket and unclip the cable.
-Now take the tab off that says something about "Certified Personnel Only", whatever that is haha.
-Now, you can remove the battery.
-Snap the new battery in and put everything back in place like you found it.
-If you're afraid of messing something up, please call us to have it done professionally. We have a warranty for your repaired iPhone.
